One could say that creation is the first bible, revealing a divine source or
Creator who is powerful yet gentle, invisible yet glimpsed in the natural
order of the daily unfolding of events and time. Observing this natural order
and subtle mystery, those who are wise have determined that wherever
truth, beauty, and goodness are found, there is evidence of that divinity.
The balance and harmony of nature and the humble way all creatures
accept and live within their limitations and potentialities, suggest that this
divine power is also at work in our own lives, turning everything to the good
for those who love God and seek to live within God’s will. Even though the
way that will be accomplished is not apparent to us at first, it is calling us to
have faith in the providence of a loving God.
