A mystic is someone who has been gifted with an extraordinarily intimate
relationship with the divine. That is what the Word of God offers to those
who dedicate themselves to it. Whether printed or spoken, the Word of God
is a powerful spiritual reality, bringing to those who immerse themselves in it
gifts of serenity and joy.
The Word of God shares with the Spirit of God the nature of paradox, simple
yet profound. Written yet invisible, heard not just audibly but also deep
within one’s heart, working its transformative power in darkness and silence.
It brings immeasurable personal and spiritual benefits to those who study it
prayerfully and try to live its teachings faithfully.
