a Psalm 37:6-10 (He will make your vindication shine like the light, and the
justice of your cause like the noonday. Be still before the Lord, and wait
patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those
            who carry out evil devices…)

b Proverbs 28:2-3 (When a land rebels it has many rulers; but with an
intelligent ruler there is lasting order. A ruler who oppresses the poor is a
beating rain that leaves no food.)
            Isaiah 10:1

c Psalm 37:14-15 (The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring
down the poor and needy, to kill those who walk uprightly; their sword shall
enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.)

d Psalm 64:5-6 (They hold fast to their evil purpose; they talk of laying
snares secretly, thinking, “Who can see us? Who can search out our
crimes? We have thought out a cunningly conceived plot.” For the human
            heart and mind are deep.)

e Psalm 50:16-20 (But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to
recite my statutes, or take my covenant on your lips? For you hate
discipline, and you cast my words behind you. You make friends with a thief
when you see one, and you keep company with adulterers…)

f Colossians 3:5-11 (Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly:
fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed [which is idolatry]. On
account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.
These are the ways you also once followed, when you were living that life.
But now you must get rid of all such things - anger, wrath, malice, slander,
and abusive language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing
that you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed
yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge
according to the image of its creator…)
