Exodus 3:13-15 (But Moses said to God, “If I come to the Israelites and
            a
say to them, ‘The god of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ and they ask
me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I
AM WHO I AM.” He said further, “Thus you shall say to the Israelites, ‘I AM
has sent me to you.’” God also said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the
Israelites, ‘The Lord the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the
God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, has sent me to you’: This is my name
forever, and this is my title for all generations.)

b Mark 13:5-8 (Then Jesus began to say to them, “Beware that no one leads
you astray. Many will come in my name and say ‘I am he!’ and they will lead
many astray. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be
alarmed; this must take place, but the end is still to come. For nation will rise
against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in
various places; there will be famines. This is but the beginning of the birth
            pangs.)
            Ezekiel 13:1-19

c Luke 14:10-11 (But when you are invited, go and sit down at the lowest
place, so that when your host comes, he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up
higher’; then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at the table
with you. For all who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who
            humble themselves will be exalted.”)

d Matthew 23:5-7 (They do all their deeds to be seen by others; for they
make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long. They love to have the
place of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues, and to be
greeted with respect in the marketplaces, and to have people call them
            rabbi.)
