Once again, through this chapter, we are thrust into the realm of the
paradoxical nature of faith, interacting with wisdom. Greatness comes not
so much from our effort as from a delicate balance of gratitude and love,
moderation and simplicity, and through action flowing out of contemplative
stillness.
Those who do small things with great love, who are true to their word, who
find God present in the smallest of things and actions, who can see the
bigger picture, who know their life is not about them as much as they are
about life, and that they are participants in God’s divine plan for them, will
easily overcome any difficulties they encounter from day to day.
