Keith's return to his Vietnamese heritage after forty-eight
years since leaving Vietnam for the United States in 1975 was a
significant moment. During his visit to the region, he gained
valuable insights into his family history that expanded upon the
knowledge passed down to him by his father. While in Vietnam, it
was brought to Keith’s attention that his ancestors donated the land
in Nam Dinh where they built Phuong Duc Catholic Church and
helped in the construction of Trieu Thong Catholic Church.
Adjacent to Phuong Duc Catholic Church, stands a beautiful
memorial garden dedicated to Keith's great-grandfather Nguyen
Huy Riem and great-grandmother Nguyen Thi Riem, serving as a
reminder for people to honor their unwavering faith in God.
Additionally, Keith was made aware that his family lineage includes
three martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the faith. His return to
this land is a constant reminder of God’s eternal presence and
promise to him. This experience has deepened Keith's
understanding of his mission in restoring the truth.

You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed
you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will
give you whatever you ask him in my name. ~ John 15:16

A noteworthy mention is how God brings together the
people He calls to carry out His divine purpose at the perfect timing.
