property, he confidently said, “God will help me buy it.”
By the grace of God, a series of miraculous events began
to take place. Keith and his wife discovered banks that were willing
to approve the loan for the purchase, and their credit score was
cleaned up just in time for the escrow to close. Best of all, Keith's
father, determined to help, reached out to several sources to
secure the funds needed for the down payment.
In the midst of gathering sufficient funds for the building's
down payment, Keith made a drastic and seemingly illogical
decision. He donated nearly $10,000 just before closing escrow
and loaned another $10,000 to a friend on the verge of losing his
business. He only told his wife, Tracy, fully aware that others would
consider it a foolish and reckless decision that jeopardized the
property purchase. When Keith and Tracy arrived at the escrow
office to sign the final documents, they were $15,000 short of the
$40,000 required and had only three hours to deposit the remaining
balance before the bank closed. As they exited the escrow office
and settled into their car, Tracy asked, "How are we going to get
the money?" Keith replied calmly, "What God started, He will
finish."
Back at their office, Keith felt compelled to check the
mailbox. Inside, he found an envelope containing a $16,000 check
from a customer who had recently placed a large order with their
business. They rushed to the bank and made the deposit just in
time for the escrow company to process the payment that same
