Tool for the New Evangelization

In His love, God gave us the Word through His Son to "Restore" us with the truth, bringing "Renewal" to our hearts and minds through His teachings and transformation of our lives by the Holy Spirit so that we can "Respond" to the call of holiness, as illustrated by the 3 Rs: Restore, Renewal, and Respond. The BFG Handbook provides a path through the 3 Rs—restores the truth by presenting a new expression of the gospel, guiding us through the Trinitarian method of spiritual renewal, and the transformation of our lives with "Ardor"—an inner light that illuminates the presence of God. It is not a different gospel, but a presentation of the gospel that is new through its Expression, through its Methods, and through its Ardor, that resonates with our modern world.

The 3 Rs for the New Evangelization

The 81 chapters in the BFG Handbook outline the three Rs, which serve as the framework for the New Evangelization. The effectiveness of the New Evangelization relies on integrating these three Rs: "Restore" the truth, "Renewal" of the spirit, and "Respond" to the call. It is a continuous cycle that should be repeated daily to protect ourselves from external distractions and influences, allowing us to stay focused on God. The BFG Handbook is the tool to restore the truth that resonates with our modern society. On our journey of faith, the Trinitarian M.A.P. for each of the 81 chapters provide a structured guide for the ongoing renewal of our spirit. And through our renewed spirit, we are transformed to confidently proclaim the Good News and respond to the call of holiness.

THE EXPRESSION: BFG Handbook

The First R is centered on the EXPRESSION—finding the right words to "Restore" the Truth by telling the story of God's Love in a way that resonates with today's modern culture. John Paul II emphasized that the crisis is not of Faith itself but rather a challenge in understanding and communicating the content of that Faith in ways that resonate with today's society. To address this issue, the BFG Handbook is a necessary tool for the New Evangelization that offers a new "Expression" of the gospel to "Restore" the truth that is in line with St. Thérèse's "Little Way," making holiness possible.

RENEWAL

THE METHOD: Trinitarian M.A.P.

The Second R is centered on the METHOD—true "Renewal" of our spirit comes when the Truth is restored. The Truth is not just theoretical knowledge but a living, transformative reality found in Jesus Christ. Through the "Trinitarian Method", M.A.P.—Mindset, Aim, and Practice—becomes a compass for renewal, grounded in Love, Trust, and Faith. The BFG Handbook will guide us through this "Method", to deepen our understanding of how the Love of the Father shapes our MINDSET, how Trust in the Son directs our AIM, and how Faith in the Holy Spirit guides our daily PRACTICE. This PRACTICE prepares our hearts with the necessary tools to confidently share the Joy of the Gospel.

RESPOND

THE ARDOR: Transformation

The Third R is centered on the ARDOR—the renewal of our spirit ignites a deeper faith, empowering us to "Respond" to the call of holiness and share the Joy of the Gospel confidently. This "Ardor" is an inner light force that inspires us to live by higher moral principles. Through this light, we pave the way for others to follow our example. The BFG Handbook offers a pathway to transformation, renewing the mind and heart through the Holy Spirit in alignment with God’s will. It shares universal values that transcend cultures, histories, and religions, fostering deep and lasting relationships. Through this unity, we are transformed, embodying the Body of Christ, illuminating His presence to make disciples of all nations.

Love is the “HEART” of the New Evangelization

Love is the heart or driving force of the New Evangelization, the essence that draws people together, opens hearts to the Gospel, and reveals the beauty of God’s unchanging truth. This love is not confined by words or doctrines; rather, it reaches into the depths of human experience, meeting each person with compassion, patience, and understanding. It calls us to a higher mission that transcends mere conversion—to authentically share the Good News in ways that speak directly to the soul, breaking down barriers and bridging cultural divides.

This love is a reflection of God’s own heart, urging us to embody Christ’s presence in the world and live in unity with one another. As we allow love to lead, we become true witnesses of the Gospel—not only in what we say but in how we live, illuminating the message of Christ through our actions. Love inspires us to be courageous, selfless, and genuine, inviting others to see that faith is alive and that God’s love is real, timeless, and available to all.

Through love, the New Evangelization becomes more than just a call to discipleship; it becomes a way of life. It inspires a lasting transformation, encouraging others to step onto the path toward holiness and to experience God’s grace firsthand. In this way, love fuels a movement that can renew the world, inviting each person to embrace the journey toward holiness.
